A 3 bed house. This property is subject to a S106, you must be in housing need and satisfy one of the following: 1. Be an existing resident in the relevant parish establishing a separate household who has lived in the relevant parish for the past 3 years or 2. Be head of a household or whose partner is or taking up permanent employment in an already established business within the relevant parish or; 3. Householders currently living in a dwelling which us either shared but not self-contained, overcrowded or is otherwise unsatisfactory by environmental health standards, and have been in the relevant parish for the past 3 years or; 4. Be elderly or disabled requiring sheltered or otherwise more suitable accommodation who are living in the relevant parish for the last 3 years or; 5. Having to leave tied accommodation and who are living in the relevant parish for the last 3 years or; 6. Former residents of the relevant parish with close relatives who main residence within the National Park or a Split Parish accepted in writing by the Authority as having exceptional need to return to the National Park. For the purposes of complying with the criteria the relevant parishes are set as follows: 1. Either of the parishes of Hawes or High Abbotside but if there is no eligible person then; 2. The parishes of Garsdale, Bainbridge, Asygarth & District, Thornton Rust, Newbiggin, Bishopdale, Thoralby, Askrigg, Muker, Low Abbotside, Burton cum Walden, Carperby but if there is no eligible person then 3. The parishes of Melbcks, Reeth, Arkengarthdale, Marrick or Grinton then 4. Those remaining parishes whose boundaries fall wholly within the National Park but if there is no eligible person then 5. Split Parishes. If no such applicants meet any of the above criteria we will consider applicants with a connection to the Richmondshire District. Payment of a week’s/month’s rent in advance is required prior to letting. Further checks will be carried out on the successful applicants..
