To be eligible to bid for this property you must be in housing need and satisfy the following: a) Been resident within the parish of Dalton for a period of at least 12 months, or b) Within the last 10 years been a resident in the parish of Dalton for a period of at least 5 years; or c)Has a mother, father, son or daughter resident in the Parish of Dalton for at least 12 months, or d)Be permanently employed in the Parish of Dalton or taking up permanent employment in the Parish of Dalton within 3 months of the allocation. If no such applicants satisfy parts a –d then we would consider applicants that have a connection to one of the following parishes resident within one or more of the Parishes of Sowerby, Bagby, Thirkleby High and Low with Osgoodby, Hutton Sessay, Birdforth, Sessay, Fawdington, Eldmire with Crakehall and Topcliffe and satisfy the following criteria; a) Be ordinarily a resident in one of the above parishes for a period of 12 months or; b) Have within the last 10 years been a resident in one or more of the above parishes for a period of at least 5 years, or; c) Have a mother, father, son or daughter resident in one or more of the Parishes or; d) You must be permanently employed in one of the other Parishes or taking up permanent employment within 3 months of the allocation.
