City of York are currently writing to households who have an active housing application with them to advise that they will be leaving the NYHC Partnership early next year to operate their own York-Only choice based letting system through a new system called Open Housing This means from early 2022 any person looking for a property in the local authority area of York will need to re-register their interest and meet the published criteria for Yorks new social housing policy. The North Yorkshire Home Choice partnership will continue to be operated by the remaining partners of - Yorkshire Housing (Ryedale DC and Craven DC) Beyond Housing (Scarborough DC) Broadacres (Hambleton DC) Richmondshire DC and Selby DC.
